Ruler of the World

Leonardo Dicaprio's character stood on the bow of the Titanic and declared himself the "King of the world." Shortly thereafter the massive ship sank. Many have, are, and will come along seeking to be king of the world. Those who want this distinction should take care because the prince of this world wants that position for himself. God declared that the chief fallen angel, Lucifer, was the king of this world. He wants so badly to prove himself to be god. He wants to rule the world first, then the universe. The God who is the real Ruler of the Universe knows that Satan is not capable of ruling anything, much less the universe. God is allowing Satan to come to power with which he will eventually rule the world for a short period of time. He is orchestrating an intrinsic and complicated lie that will bring him to this power as the ungodly people of the world buy his lie hook, line, and sinker. When you stand back and look at it, the human race is not smart enough, even collectively, to orchestrate the thoughts and actions that are rampant and taking over more and more of society. They even think that the lie is benefitting them, but actually it is destroying them. Satan will do such a miserable job of ruling the world, or the portion of it that will go along with him, that he will thrust the world into utter chaos, proving himself incapable of leadership. It is then that Jesus Christ will return to rule the world and just in case anyone ever questions Him, he will rule it perfectly for a thousand years, proving that only God is capable of leading and ruling in the affairs of mankind.

Wait a minute! Leonardo DiCaprio declares himself king of the world and that made God so mad that in order to kill DiCaprio he sunk the Titanic and killed over 1500 innocent people. I think think they should take away DiCaprio's academy award for that. Maybe God was just jealous because DiCaprio was in a nude scene with Kate Winslet. Did you avert your eyes during that scene?

You know if satan is going to take over the world he better get moving. 2012 is just over 2 years away and we all know the world is going to end then.

I don't think it made God as mad as it did Satan. Being king of the world was his, Satan's, right according to him. God is very patient. Satan is not. Satan is probably the jealous one.

The world will end when God says it is time. I believe we have 10-15 years before Armagedon, at which time the USA will be relegated to a third rate power and a small player if a player at all on the world scene.

I thought Armagedon was supposed to occur at the end of the world and would be the final battle between good and evil but it looks like you think the USA will still be around AFTER the battle. How do you come up with that? Also, how did you come up with the 10-15 years figure till the battle happens?

I believe the US will be around at the battle of Armagedon as will many of the nations of the world. The Anti-Christ, False Prophet, and Beast lead the restored Roman Empire into that battle with the Kings from the East, and others into the Valley of Megeddo where the battle takes place. It is more the final battle between the ungodly kings of the earth and the King of kings upon His return.

I see the movements of mankind moving toward the rise of the Anti-Christ/Beast/False Prophet government which could happen in the next five to seven years and then during their rule there will be seven years of tribulation, which has not started yet. We are moving very fast toward the wrap up of human and satanic governments. After Armagedon Christ will set up His rule and rule the world for a thousand years. Men are showing that they can't rule. Satan will blow it when he rules the world. Jesus will then show that only God can rule the world. Maranatha!

Well, you appear to be a premillennialist but when it comes to the rapture I can't tell if you are pre-trib, mid-trib, post-trib or prewrath. Which ever it is, however, you might want to take advantage of this service provided by some kind hearted atheists.

Oops, that link didn't work. Try this one

Yes, I believe that Christ is coming back to set up a one-thousand year reign as King of kings. I believe as the apostle Paul told us that we who believe and have accepted Jesus as our Lord will be caught up to meet Him in the air whether we are alive or have died the first death (death as we know it now). Those who are dead will be raised up first and then those who are still alive. Whether that is pre, mid, or post tribulation, I don't think we can predict. I believe the church will go through at least a part of the tribulation, at time that will weed out those who are seriously trusting Jesus and those who have some other motivation for being religious. A common humorism is that I am a Pan - Christ will return and everything will pan out all right.

OK, I viewed the link. You are right. Athiests would be able to deliver the letter after the rapture, because if you are alive, you will still be here. But not to worry! I believe you can still be saved after the rapture (not all premillennialists believe this). I think many of you who are somewhat versed in the scriptures, if given enough time after the rapture, might just decide to believe, and God, not wanting any to perish will accept your repentance and the receiving of Jesus sacrifice on the cross for the payment of your sins, and just might save you from the second death, which is the one you should really worry about. I believe it just might be possible for a select few true believers and disciples of Jesus Christ to be left on the earth after the rapture with the specific mission of helping those who repent after that event to come to Christ and be saved from their deserved fate - the wages of sin which is death (the second death - the one you should worry about!).
